Contact Lenses
Choosing contact lenses can offer numerus benefits for vision correction and lifestyle. They provide a wider and more natural field of view compared to glasses, which sometimes obstruct peripheral vision due to frames. Contact lenses stay securely in place during physical activities, making them ideal for sports and active lifestyle |
Dr Niki Patellis and Dr Barbara Koslow will discuss your options during the contact lens exam, helping you choose the most convenient lenses for your lifestyle. When your prescription and the correct contact lenses are determined, we will give you a trial pair of lenses to wear for a week or two to ensure they are comfortable and you can see clearly. Before you can leave the office with the contacts, a technician will sit down with you to ensure you know how to insert, remove, and care for the lenses. We will also teach you how to care for the contacts to ensure they last and avoid potential eye infections. |

Today's contact lenses are available in many materials and types including multi-focal contacts, specialized contacts for dry eyes, and contacts for patients with astigmatism. There are single use contact lenses that are replaced every day, as well as contact lenses that can be worn for extended periods. Our Dr's specialize in contact lenses, including hard-to-fit cases. |
